Thank you for giving Foliage Factory this opportunity to inspect your landscape plants and recommend a comprehensive treatment program. During my March 3 inspection of your property, I found black vine weevils infesting your rhododendrons. These insects are the cause of the notches on the leaves. They are a serious problem and need to be controlled as soon as possible. In addition, your maple trees have leaf spot and powdery mildew diseases, and the arborvitae have tipblight.
I recommend five treatments for your trees and shrubs annually--an application of dormant oil in the late winter in order to destroy insect eggs, followed by three treatments (one each in early spring, late spring, and summer) for continuing insect and disease control; and a late fall application of fertilizer to encourage root growth and keep the plants strong through the winter. Foliage Factory uses only the finest materials and state certified horticulturists.
Each treatment costs $33.00. There is a 10% discount if you pay for the year's five visits in advance. For your convenience, we will return each spring to continue the service unless we hear from you. You may discontinue the service at any time. If you are not pleased with the results of any treatment, let me know and I will re-treat your trees and shrubs at no extra cost. You have nothing to lose and a better landscape to gain.
If you have any questions, please call me; otherwise I will call you on Monday to set up a schedule for the treatments.
